Well I is a White German Shepherd and only a month off being nine years young. I am on da large size of da breed and I walk bold and noble like a stallion prancing across da prairies! As I have got older I have developed a slight ginger tinge, which I hate to admit.... Anyways, I have no harrowing story to tell, nor do I have sad haunting eyes, I have been very fortunate to have found my forever home from birth, I is pleased to say.
At eight weeks old, me and my siblings came bouncing out to see dis woman and lickle boy who was looking for a new family member. Da woman (Mamma) stood adoringly looking down at us all going nuts around da room. I noticed da lickle boy in a red Liverpool kit, (my favourite kit) he stood rather nervously looking shy, but excited at da same time. Da lickle boy (my brother, Marcus) knelt down onto da carpet, (my favourite flooring) his skinny lickle legs twisted underneath him. Well, I immediately knocked my siblings out of da way and jumped straight on him so dat he fell to da floor hehehehe. "Radar" said my parents' owner, "Be gentle"! Pfffft "Radar", she was taking da mick cos I had one ear up and one ear down; I didn't take kindly to dat name, I tink it was very personal indeed! I looked at da boy direct in his eyes and decided to wash da chocolate stains off his lickle face! "Mummy", he cried, "I want dis one". Result! My bags were packed and my stick and handkerchief over da shoulder! Da nice lady came to stroke me and I instantaneously washed her face too, nibbling at her nose (my favourite ting). "But Marcus, you haven't looked at any of the other doggies"! "I don't need to", he replied in a cross tone, I want him. Hehehehehe and dat is where it all began :)
I was a very naughty puppy; I wuvved pulling on da lead and chewing new trainers (my favourite tings)....nom nom nom. I even enjoyed chewing da wall, I was trying to get through to Steve, my next door neighbour, but Mamma did not understand. I ruined da carpets and Mamma went out to buy dis strange wood like flooring, which I have to admit was and still is kind of slippy - especially when you are racing in after the cats doing thirty miles per hour with wet paws from the field! I have crashed into the washing machine on many occasions! Mamma says the knocks on my head have made me special!
I played wid everyting dat moved and ran and ran until I collapsed, (my favourite ting) den I would come in and spark out on da leather sofa, which was now my place. Sleeping on da sofa is my favourite ting. Although when I was an adolecent, I got attacked twice in two days and got a nasty puncture wound under my armpit! After dat, I did not play as nice and I tended to dominate all male dogs dat came my way...well I wasn't going to put up wid dat again, I had obviously been too soft! I was a big boy now and I refused to take any nonsense. If a dog did not roll over and show me his tummy immediately, den I warned him. Well apparently, Mamma didn't like dis and told me I had to be nice....Pffffft crazy woman, I have a reputation to hold, I kept telling her. However, she still would not have it and at 18 months old (how embarrassing), I attended school twice a week. I was very naughty at first and tried to chase everyting and anyone who caught my eye; it was my fourite ting. I remember dis big stern lady wid wild grey fizzy hair telling Mamma dat she had to toughen up, as I was da Alpha male and was running da household. We should have turned and jogged on at dat very moment! I still despise dat silly frumpy woman wid her stupid whistle and clicker training ting. I enjoyed being let off da lead and not returning...why should I, I was Storm, I could do what I wanted when I wanted and above all, it was my favourite ting.
Well, we attended for months and months on end....I suddenly thought that if I did not behave myself and respond to da whistle on recall den I would have to see her ugly mug twice a week for da rest of my life. Dat is when I had my first lightbulb moment and turned into da angel dat I am now. I even got a certificate!!! Mamma is still soft as a brush and I still sit on da leather sofa, but she don't take any nonsense outside!
I is very well behaved all da time really, unless I see cattle....I cannot explain to you da urge I get to herd dem tings up, sheep and cows are da best, dey are my favourite ting - only problem is I have to be on da lead when we are near dem now!
I is a very good footballer and can run onto a pitch in a flash and steal da ball, dis is my favourite ting....I don't do it now sadly, because Mamma kept getting abuse from lots of men on da field :( My team is Liverpool FC, I even have my own shirt and wear it on da colder months on walks. I also love my bandanas, which I wear on special ocassions, it is my favourite ting. I is also proud of my German roots and support Germany when dey are playing, much to my Mamma dislike hehehe.... I have a Deutchland flag above ma bed, it is my favourite ting. My Great Grandma, Stormella comes from the deepest and darkest part of Berlin and enjoys her steins of beer at da many beer kellers on da square in Berlin. She is a beautiful bitch, but keeps my Granddaddy, Stormealian in check.
My favourite food is off course my ratas.....I was given ratas from da fridge when I was teething and got dem as a reward when I was at school. Today, I mix dem with voddy to make rata cocktails and enjoy dem with a cigar watching Scratch of da day on a Saturday night. Now dat is my favourite ting.
Three years ago, my world turned upside down, when we had no choice but to rescue dis white german shepherd crazy bitch called Keira. She was only seven months old and was a very scared and timid dog, but it was indeed love at first sight. Within eleven months, we were married and dats when da nagging began. Timid, shy...dat's a laugh....da bitch frightened me to death....I'll tell thee, I have slept wid one eye open ever since! Although, I must confess, I wuv her to space and she has definitely kept me young. Even better, it was so much fun watching her being trained.
I wuv splashing around in da water and I wuv scratching at sand, these are my favourite tings, therefore, da beach is da perfect day trip for me. My favourite place is Humanby Gap near Filey on da East Coast. My other favourite place is Fairburn Ings not far from where I live. It is a nature reserve full of birds....although I is not keen on da swans. Once a swan wid da hump hissed and chased me at Roundhay park when I was a young shepherd....I attended therapy after dat, but I is still scared and have never quite recovered from dat beak.
I is still a dominant dog, but if a dog is friendly to me den I wuv to play, playing is my favourite ting. If a dog growls or shows his teef, den Mamma has me by da short and curlies "ouch"! I can still walk for miles, walking is my favourite ting, but I sleep more now when I get home....I reminsice my walk in ma sleep and apparently I look like I'm running on my side hehehehe. Now dat is my favourite ting.
My favourite times for walks is really early on a morning and very late at night....dat way me and da wife go togever and she takes me down by da ankles whilst I am running wid da ball. Although da wife always moans when I am leaving and retrieving my pee mails, because I take too long. She does not realise how important dis is; I have to let others know dat I am around and I is still top dog and I have to pick up any new scents from strange dogs or new dogs to da area. It is always nice to receive a pee mail from a local fwend too and I always wee back on it wid my regards. This is my favourite ting.
Above all, I wuv all my family and wuv my Mamma to space and back. Der is nothing quite like snuggling up to yer Mamma on da sofa and having big kisses - my favourite ting.
I am also a very lucky shepherd because I is such a social butterfly, I have many wonderful facebook friends who I wuv to space. When I is chillin facebook is my favourite ting. Best of all is catching up wid my bezza, Rooney. Rooney lives in Sweden wid his Mamma, Daddy and lil Bro Oskie. Seeing my bezza is my most favourite ting.

06.45 wake up and go for walks - best part of da day
07.30 nom time, which is da best part of my day
